Sauteed Shrimp Tacos
Ingredients
1 pkg. of raw tail off shrimp (1 pound)
1 pkg. of broccoli slaw from local grocery store
1 container of fresh Pico De Gallo from local grocery store
1/4 cup of shredded Mexi mix cheese for topping
1 pkg. of white corn tortillas
All-Greek seasoning to taste
Trader Joe's Chili Lime Seasoning to taste
Garlic powder to taste
Olive oil for cooking
Lime juice
Avocado spread (Costco sells the best small cup servings)
Step 1
Thaw and rinse shrimp. Use a medium skillet and heat 2 tbsp. of olive oil on medium-to-medium high heat. Cook shrimp in 10–12-piece sets season with the 3 seasonings mentioned above to taste. Each set takes a max of 2 minutes to cook (until tender pink) after ever 2 sets cooked toss cooked shrimp in a sprinkling of lime juice to coat. Set shrimp aside.
Step 2
Clean out skillet and heat to a medium heat. Heat corn tortillas until pliable and warm. Each taco has 2 tortillas.
Prep: Take one corn tortilla and spread a thin layer of avocado mix on it. Stack second tortilla, broccoli slaw, shrimp, Pico De Gallo, and sprinkled cheese. Add any sauces you wish, even a slice of fresh lime!
You are ready to serve!
